What is encaustic? What is encaustic paint? How do you use it? These are the questions I will cover in this beginner intro class. This video and worksheet includes a supply list, bonus items for the medium, recommended retailers, historic information on the medium, digital resources, and what you'll learn with all of the classes offered. The video will walk you through how to create a "primer" layer of encaustic medium, and the beginning stages of adding encaustic paint. This video is the first recommended video in the series of my courses. Supply list for this course: -Encaustic Medium -Heating griddle (set no higher than 200 deg.
